Acceptance of Student
St. Anastasia School of Religious Education and Faith Formation accepts students in grades 1-8. It is expected that students will remain in religious studies for the eight year program. Should a student miss a year or more before a sacrament, they will have to attend a bridge program for a year.
Our program strives to include all students regardless of their educational needs. Please contact the office to learn more about special education.
First time students must provide baptismal records. Any child who is not baptized is still welcome to partake in religious education through the RCIC program (see below).
Our program is a hybrid. Children will be assigned chapters to be completed online and then will attend optional monthly sessions. There will also be family sessions. Please check the calendar for more information.
Online attendance will be monitored. The program shows catechists how much of a lesson has been completed and how long a child was on the lesson. It is expected that children would spend a minimum of 30 minutes per lesson.
My Catholic Faith Delivered Lessons and Evaluation
The Faith and Life series by Ignatius Press is offered through My Catholic Faith Delivered. Students will receive weekly lessons to complete. Each child will have a username and password, which will be sent to the primary email address provided at registration.
Please look at the My Catholic Faith Delivered Parish Guide for more information.
Each lesson will have an assessment at the end. Children will be evaluated on that assessment.
